OBGYN
Medical trainees will work with an OBGYN based in Chicago, IL. Through this experience, medical trainees will learn about the medical specialty of gynecology as it is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders that affect women, such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, and menopause.
Clinical Experience-Programme Overview
This experience will provide medical trainees exposure to clinical skills such as patient histories and physical exams. Trainees will become familiar with treating and observing expecting mothers throughout their pregnancies, during childbirth, and into postpartum, performing breast and pelvic exams, and educating patients on preventative care.
The physician focuses on gynecology, not obstetrics, and specialises in female sexual dysfunction, menopause management, fourth-trimester care, pelvic pain, and vulvar.
