Virtual Radiology
Medical trainees will remotely work with a radiologist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Clinical Experience-Programme Overview
Trainees can expect a schedule of several (two) meetings a week to include a minimum of 8-hours of synchronous diagnostic and interventional radiology (hospital focused) learning virtually and 10 hours of asynchronous learning (self-study of cases, articles, medical knowledge reading, etc.) Trainees are eligible to receive one Merit-based LOR on University hospital letterhead.
This virtual rotation includes examining real patients (de-identified) diagnostic imaging, procedural imaging and management recommendations. Students will have the opportunity to build a working and meaningful understanding of common scenarios in radiology seen in hospitals.
